The snow has been melting up here for a few weeks now and all the Voss Rafting staff are here, it was time to test the crew on the 'Home Run' the Branseth. It was low water, clear and amazing as ever and our team was looking pretty colourful as we geared up for the full team run. This would be Roberto's day of firsts - his first slide, first creek, first waterfalls in a new boat in a new PFD, so it was bound to be exciting!

It is longer, bigger, and harder than many of the other runs, and has a huge variety of rapids, and even a hour long portage near the end of the day , just to keep you honest!!!

We just had a great run on the Kokatahi, nearly 10 years since the last one on Als birthday. That one took nearly 12hours, with a team of Arnd, Scorshi, Corkboy,Al and John Mason.
This trip took 6 hours, with local guide Dave Kwant helping cut down on scouts, and we were able to run the Carnage gorge( a 2 hour portage).
